Veto Tech Pac Wheeler – My Initial Impressions

The Importance of a Reliable Tool Bag

When working in the field, the importance of having a reliable tool bag cannot be overstated. Whether you’re a professional contractor or a DIY enthusiast, your tool bag acts as a vital companion that keeps your hand and power tools organized and accessible. A well-structured tool bag saves time and enhances productivity, allowing you to focus on the job at hand without the frustration of rummaging through disorganized tools.

This Bag Feels Tough!

You can immediately tell that Veto’s Tech Pac Wheeler has some serious build quality. Sporting a 3mm polypropylene base as well as a main body fabric made of a high quality, high density PVC backed polyester, this bag damn near feels like it can last a lifetime. Additionally this Veto pack comes equipped with removable panels that can be removed and replaced. The replacement panels have different storage configurations to fit your needs. Additional replacement panels can be purchased separately on the Veto website. The construction and feel of this bag almost resembles that of expensive, high quality luggage, a sturdy collapsible handle at the top, and two wheels on the lower rear that allow it be rolled. You can also use the backpack style straps tucked inside a panel panel to carry it up and down a ladder or just keep your hands free for more tools.

I’ve started loading this bag with the tools I’ll be required to use for my electrical program and so far the storage for pliers, drivers, and other miscellaneous items is plentiful. With only one side of the pack full of hand tools full, it weighs about 40 lbs. I’m still expecting to carry some additional sockets, nut drivers, and ratchets on the back side, but as it currently sits, the wheels and collapsable handle move this bag around easily and have no concern with adding additional weight to it. The only Issue I can see is having to carry this on your back using the straps for prolonged periods of time. My review may be slightly premature as the true test will be putting it to work out in the real world. But I am hoping that my first impressions of this bag are of some use to you.

Considering the price, it is understandable why someone may be hesitant to purchase a tool bag that retails for around $400.00. I am hoping that as I put this bag through its paces, the strength and quality of this bag are well worth the cost. Veto warranties their bags for a period of five years from from defects in materials and workmanship. This is definitely the Cadillac of tool bags and I am looking forward to providing another update after having put this one through its paces.
